Abstract. In order to research rational design parameter of multilayer scraper system, discrete element analyses software EDEM2.3 was used to numerically simulate the working process of multilayer scraper manure cleaning system. Simulation experiments based on 4 factors 3 levels orthogonal design were introduced by the simulation model. The result showed that when the vertical and longitudinal angle of scraper respectively selected as 15°and 40°, and the moving velocity of scraper selected as 0.26m/s, the maximum height of manure deposit body in scraping process would be lower so the interlayer spacing could be smaller, and the better efficiency of manure scraping system would also be obtained. Among all the factors analyzed, the inclination angle of manure carrying board affect the height of interlayer spacing and the efficiency of manure scraping system most significantly. As to cage system which has narrow interlayer spacing, the inclination angle of manure carrying board could be omitted. As to cage system which has no strict limit in the interlayer spacing, when the inclination angle of manure carrying board designed as 10°, the optimized capability of manure scraping system could be obtained.
