Wisconsin NRCS received Federal dollars in 2000, to pilot a dam rehabilitation program. A number of watershed dams needing upgrading and/or repair were selected for the program. Plain Honey Structure # 3 will be upgraded to meet current NRCS hazard criteria, sediment will be removed from the reservoir to restore the original sediment design capacities.

This paper outlines the re-planning process that was followed to address the Local sponsor needs and concerns. Numerous alternatives, both structural and non-structural, were developed and will be described. Preliminary cost estimates will be presented.
