Research on the Airflow Performance of Stripping Harvesting Rotor

The stripping rotor is the main part of stripping harvester. When the rotor rotated in a high speed, its working performance would influence the shutter loss of the threshed grain and the energy consumption. So this paper does the researches on: (1) The characteristics of the airflow field surrounding the stripping rotor were theoretically analyzed and measured in great detail. (2) The distributive rule of the static pressure head and the airflow velocity surrounding the rotor have been achieved and also the changeable airflow rule of the stripping tooth with different size of round keyhole. These results would be very helpful in designing the stripping rotor or applying into practice.
