The present work had for objective to study the growth curve of Holstein heifers, through Brody, Gompertz and Logistic Models fitness to the referring data the weight-age of 65 Holstein females, daughters of 20 bulls. The estimate of the parameters was made by widespread minimum square method being used non-linear regression models with error autocorrelated. The comparison between models was made through the assessors of the adjustment quality and for the parameters biological interpretation. All the models adjusted well to the data, but the Gompertz model was it more indicated to describe the growth of the heifers, could be used in improvement programs.
