A Detailed Approach for Developing Fecal Coliform TMDL in a Agricultural/Rural Watershed

This report presents the development of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for Cedar Creek, Hall Creek, Byers Creek, and Hutton Creek. These creeks are tributaries of the Middle Fork Holston River and were placed on the Commonwealth of Virginias 303(d) list of water quality impaired water bodies because of violations of the fecal coliform bacteria water quality standard. This project resulted in a report titled Fecal Coliform TMDL Development for Cedar, Hall, Byers, and Hutton Creeks, Virginia (Submitted by: Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, 2000).
