The Climate Change Effect on the River Discharge Southwest of IranPublished by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, St. Joseph, Michigan www.asabe.org Citation: 2022 ASABE Annual International Meeting 2201010.(doi:10.13031/aim.202201010)Authors: Zohreh Khorsandi, Farhad Mokhtari, Farzaneh Khorsandi Keywords: LARS-WG model, exponential fine-scale, runoff variation Iran has an arid and semiarid weather condition. We will use the collected data from the climatology stations in the region and hydrological stations of the river to predict future climatic data, applying LARS-WG software, which is a computationally inexpensive downscaling tool. In this study, we estimated the effect of climate change on river discharge in an arid area in the southwest of Iran. Results illustrated that the amount of precipitation is decreased and the temperature is increased. Therefore, river dischargereducedased and the level of surface water resources in the studied area is severely reduced. (Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
