Abstract. Sustainability of center pivot irrigated corn may be improved by better nutrient, disease and insect management through fertigation and chemigation. An economic comparison of other methods of supplying nutrient disease and insect products for corn production will be discuss in comparison to using a center pivot. How fertigation and chemigation with center pivots can improve sustainability will be presented.
