Abstract. Aiming at the problems of tractor walking difficulty, large tillage resistance, poor flatness, and poor tillage depth consistency caused by the current greenhouse ridge cultivation planting mode in North China during rotary tillage operations, a four-head spiral machete and spiral blade combination were designed. Arranged flat ridge device. The discrete element method is used to establish the soil model of the ridge structure, the soil particle contact model is selected and the simulation parameters are set. Under different operating parameters, EDEM software is used to simulate the ridge leveling process, and the optimal working parameter combination of the ridge leveling device is obtained. The simulation is performed under this parameter, and the stress results of the belt-shaped spiral blades subjected to soil particles in the simulation process are derived. Based on the EDEM/FEM coupling algorithm, the strength of the ribbon spiral blade is checked. The results show that the equivalent stress fluctuation of the part is small, and the flat ridge process is relatively stable.
