Experiment and research on the effect of cold plasma pre-sowing treatment on seed quality

Abstract. In agricultural production, the pre-sowing treatment of crop seeds can improve seed vigor, which in turn has a direct impact on its germination, production, yield, and nutrient components of the fruit. Plasma treatment of crop seeds can activate certain potential growth factors of crops and promote the improvement of crop yield and quality. In order to explore whether plasma treatment has an effect on seed quality, alfalfa seeds were treated with plasma before sowing, and the changes of plasma treatment on seed quality were observed through the germination rate and germination quality. The experimental results show that the plasma pre-sowing treatment can improve the germination rate and germination quality of seeds.
