Abstract. To make full use of biomass energy and solve the problems of high idle power consumption, low efficiency, huge noise, and serious wear of parts in the process of crushing forage stalks, a hammer crusher with wide application and good economic performance was designed based on understanding the design of crushers at home and abroad. The feeding angle of the machine is 70 degrees, which speeds up the feeding rate; The crushing mechanism adopts a square hammer and symmetrical staggered arrangement, which are conducive to destroying the circulation layer formed in the crushing chamber; The drive mechanism adopts a common V-belt drive to prevent the motor from burning out due to belt drive failure in the working process; The auxiliary discharge mechanism adopts negative pressure suction device to prevent the dust from diffusing in the crushing process. This type of pulverizer is a small and medium-sized pulverizer, which is suitable for crushing straw agricultural materials such as forage stalks. The fiber length of the crushed materials is 4 mm-6 mm. This machine is mainly used for crushing straw agricultural materials, which improves the crushing rate of biomass forage straw.
