Abstract. The forest-grass intercropping model refers to the economic model of planting various pastures in the forest, which can bring multiple benefits to the economy and ecology. Forest-grass intercropping can achieve high-low collocation, multi-level full use of light energy, increase photosynthetic efficiency, promote forest and grass growth, and improve forage quality and yield. In this paper, investigating the main forest-grass intercropping patterns in China. Based on the survey, suggestions were put forward on using lawn mowers to mowing inter-forest forages.
