Abstract. As a cluster plant, the king grass is thick and stalk, the artificial harvesting operation is difficult and the efficiency is low. The research and development of the king grass mechanized harvesting machinery is an important condition for the promotion of king grass. The blade of the rational disc cutting device is designed to solve the coarse stem of the king grass. The problem of stalks being difficult to cut during silage harvesting. Three kinds of disc cutter blades with rectangular light edge, triangular tooth edge and circular saw tooth are designed. Through LS-DYNA, the cutting process of the disc cutter was simulated and analyzed. The cutting effect, cutting resistance, power consumption and other factors were used as indicators to make different blade power consumption comparisons. It was concluded that the rectangular blade was at 700r/min. Rotating speed, advance speed of 0.6m/s, cutting angle of 6° can complete cutting better, cutting power consumption is minimum..
