Abstract. In recent years, due to the rapid development of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry, UAV has been widely used in agriculture. As UAV has the characteristics of flexibility and high operating efficiency, it has an irreplaceable role in agriculture. Among them, UAV broadcast sowing technology is one of the significant applications of UAV in agriculture. Firstly, this paper analyzes the main types and characteristics of Chinese UAV broadcast sowing devices from the perspective of existing flying broadcast sowing patents. Secondly, the working principles of commonly used centrifugal disc type, pneumatic type and other new broadcast sowing devices are introduced. Then, this paper points out the problems existing in the current UAV broadcast sowing and gives corresponding measures. Finally, the future development trend of UAV broadcast sowing devices is predicted to provide some reference for future research.
