Abstract. The manure cleaning equipment is an important part of the breeding equipment system. It has a great impact on the environmental quality of the rabbit house and the healthy growth of rabbits. This paper analyzes the development status, characteristics and restricting factors of rabbit breeding industry in China, and focuses on the research status and development trends of manure cleaning equipment in rabbit breeding industry at home and abroad. The ways of cleaning manure in rabbit breeding industry mainly divided into artificial cleaning manure and mechanical cleaning manure. In this paper, it mainly discusses the methods and equipment types of scraper manure cleaning machine and conveyor belt manure cleaning machine in mechanical manure cleaning equipment, and makes a comparative introduction of these two kinds of manure cleaning methods. Combined with the main problems and application 3requirements of these two kinds of equipment in rabbit breeding industry in China, it is proposed that conveyor belt manure cleaning machine is the main way to clean manure in the future, and the manure cleaning equipment must be matched with the corresponding cage system, and the design of series and standardized breeding equipment is the future trend of large-scale breeding. It is also proposed that the manure cleaning machinery can be matched with the environmental control system, and strengthen the combination of manure cleaning machinery, and intelligent control technology is the direction of further development of manure cleaning equipment in the future.
