Abstract. The main disadvantage of Chinese prickly ash picking is that the prickles are easy to prick, the speed is very slow and the work efficiency is low.。In this paper, aiming at the prominent link of harvesting difficulties in the Chinese prickly ash industrial chain, the research and development status of various harvesting methods and tools at home and abroad are analyzed and discussed, which is of great practical significance for the design and development of new harvesting tools with higher harvesting efficiency.
