Abstract. A low flow chemical metering and injection system has been developed and tested. The system utilizes two PWM controlled solenoid valves connected in series by a small charging chamber. The frequency and duty cycle of each solenoid and the delay between the solenoids were considered as parameters to control the flow rate. Testing has been performed on this dual solenoid system and control parameters have been established allowing flow control from 5 mL min-1 to 218 mL min-1.
