Abstract. Corn is important food crop, feed and industrial raw material in the world. Corn yield is still lower than the developed countries in China. It‘s of great value to promote corn yield. Corn precision seeding technology is a kind of technology to maximize the yield based on good seed cultivation technology, which is one of the key research points of corn mechanization in the whole production process. Corn precision seed meter is the basis and core of precision seeding technology. According to the metering principle of seed, it can be divided into mechanical precision seed meter and pneumatic precision seed meter. Based on the reading of the literature, this paper analyzes the general situation of China's corn production and the research status and development trend of the corn seeding equipment and corn precision meter worldwide. Based on the above work, the existing problems and future development trend of precision seeding technology in China are summarized.
