Research on Maize Precision Fertilization

Abstract. Maize plays a significant role in the safe production of grain crops, promoting the mechanization of maize production and promoting agricultural standardized production, thus realizing the maximum benefit of maize production with the least cost. This paper mainly studies a new type of maize precision fertilizer controlling system based on ARM- STM32F407 controller. The sensors of control system can detect the amount of fertilizer in real time, according to the relevant data collected and the set algorithm, it can be adjusted to the speed of seed metering to adjust the amount of fertilizer applied to the meter the amount of fertilizer in real time. The system can be applied to maize seeding fertilization, and on-demand fertilization through prescription maps, which can provide reference for design and optimization of multi-path sowing and fertilization control system. The experiment results showed that the error rate is less than 1.0% under the setting of the same rotational speeds of fertilization shafts, which meets the fertilization demand.
