Research on Organic Fertilizer Trenching and Fertilization Machine in Orchard

Abstract. In order to solve the problems such as organic fertilization mechanization for orchard, the difference of orchard planting mode, an orchard organic fertilizer ditching and fertilization machine was developed. This machine was designed according to the combination idea of agronomy and agricultural machinery. It was developed based on the agronomic requirements such as characteristics of organic fertilizer, large amount of fertilizer usage, adjustable amount of fertilizer, small operating space. The trenching and fertilization mechine that matches two kinds of fertilizer device can realize two operating modes such as single-ditch and double-ditch fertilization, and can adjust the distance between double ditches. The machine is mainly composed of a traction frame, a fertilizer box, a walking device, a fertilizer box opening size adjusting component, a fertilizer conveying component, a ditching depth adjusting device, two fertilizing devices and so on. The machine is connected with tractor and it's hydraulic power source is from tractor hydraulic output. Ditching,fertilization and soil cover operation can be completed together. The depth of ditching and the amount of fertilizer can be adjusted through the hydraulic system. The hydraulic system is composed of ditch depth adjustment loop, adjustment loop for fertilizer box opening degree, adjustment loop for fertilizer conveying speed of fertilizer box, double-ditch fertilization speed adjust loop and so on. The experiment of orchard production was carried out according to the prototype machine. The result showed that this machine has abovementioned functions.
