Abstract. In the face of growing demands within the engineering industry and the changing landscape of education resources with the growing accessibility of information, the role of the educator must evolve to meet the needs of modern engineering students. The integration of engineering education design into curriculum development can improve class engagement and improve material retention. By improving the quality of the student experience, engineering programs can be optimized to increase the value of a department‘s program. The Purdue Agricultural and Biological Engineering department applied these principles in the development of student 3D printing resources, the integration of these resources into existing curriculum design, and the evaluation of student responses to these developments.
