Abstract. The performance of agricultural support policy represents the overall performance of agricultural support policy and agricultural production in a region. This paper showed that the main factors influencing agricultural development in various regions must influence the performance of agricultural support policies. These factors mainly include internal factors of agricultural production and external factors of agricultural support. In this study, Tobit model was used to analyze factors influencing the performance of Chinese agricultural support policies about the different varieties. As the Chinese major agricultural crops, rice, wheat, corn, potatoes and soybeans were sampled from 69, 184, 276, 34 and 33 households. The influence degree and direction of each index of influencing factors on the performance of agricultural support policy were analyzed. Model simulation results showed that the main factors influencing the performance of agricultural support policy is different in variety crops. It‘s helpful to guide the government and social organizations to support different agricultural policies.
