Abstract. The key component of the forage grinder is the smashing device, and the rotor is the core of the smashing device, which plays a very important role. Most of the parts of the rotor are connected by the pin shafts. In the designing process, it is necessary to consider whether the stiffness and strength of each component meet the requirements of mechanical assembly and fatigue life. In this paper, the static strength analysis of the rotor of the grinder is carried out by ANSYS software, and the deformation and strength load of the rotor under the rated speed are obtained, and the strength of each part of the rotor is also checked.
