Abstract. Yak dung is a rare fuel in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, but for a long time, the collection of yak dung has always been dependent on Tibetan women's hand picking, which is very detrimental to their health. On this basis, a new type of hand-pushing yak dung pickup forklift is designed, which greatly improves the pickup efficiency and reduces the labor intensity. The ergonomics simulation of pickup forklift is carried out by using DELMIA software, the key design is optimized, and the improved pickup forklift is operated in China Agricultural University. The results show that the performance of the pickup forklift is excellent and meets the design requirements completely. It has a broad prospect of popularization.
