Abstract. The frame of self-propelled silage combined bagging machine is an important part of the machine. It should have sufficient stiffness and strength to insure proper operation under various working conditions. When the natural frequency of the frame is close to the frequency of the dynamic load, the sympathetic vibration will be generated. It will seriously affect the performance, the reliability and operational life of the silage machine. Therefore, it is particularly important to study the vibration of the frame of self-propelled silage combined bagging machine. This paper simulated and calculated the modal parameters as well as the modal vibration shapes based ANSYS software. Through comparing the external excitation frequencies and modal parameters, it shows that the frame of self-propelled silage combined bagging machine is safely and reliably.
