Abstract. Alfalfa is a forage crop known as the "the king of forage", not only the high yield and quality grass, but various livestock feeding, alfalfa seed is the basis for the continuation of alfalfa. To solve the problem of high damage and low efficiency of alfalfa seed machinery, the dynamic mechanical property test and thermodynamic analysis of the material were carried out; Mechanical damage analysis is conducted to reveal the importance of developing flexible machinery; Provide design basis for the design and manufacture of various mechanical systems, such as harvest, processing, processing, seeding and so on, In order to predict mechanical damage, improve the quality of products, explore new control methods and determine the basis to provide reasonable parameters.
