Abstract.
The main purpose of this project is to design a drum-type burner for biomass pellet fuel.Based on the analysis of the chemical composition and physical properties of biomass pellet fuel,a drum-type burner is put up in which the heat exchange and mass exchange are all enhanced by the rotation of the drum .And to some extend,the fuel is fully combusted with first and secondary air supply,which provide energy for the following processes.The overall design of the system is included,the calculation of the fuel combustion is analysed,as well as the design of key components and parts.
