Abstract. Secondary compression for forage bales is one of the major treatment ways, reducing handing, transportation and storage costs because of increasing the bulk density of bales. In this research, we designed a recompression chamber for forage bales. To ensure the compression chamber has the adequate capacity to stand strength during the compression process, this paper simulated and optimized the conditions of processing and compression chamber structure based ANSYS software, respectively. In the case of constant pressure, Analyzed the deformation of chamber to determine the point of the most vulnerable to failure under different chambers ribs. The objectives of this paper were (1) to ensure that the amount of deformation under security range (2) to get the compression chamber can work safely.
