Abstract. Low-temperature Helium plasma (LTHP) is a high-energy state of the material gathered, Plasma seed processing technology is the use of high energy aggregation on treating seeds. The LTHP stimulation could improve seed germination. The different time and power used in processing could have different effects on seed germination characteristics of maize (Zea mays L.). For this purpose, different time and power was applied in the seed treatment. After processed, germination experiment was carried out. It can be found that: which combination of time and power has the largest role in promoting to maize seed germination. The results may give a brief idea how we can increase germination potential, germination rate of maize seed.
