Simulation of Silage Screw Conveyor Flow Properties Based on EDEM

Abstract. Research using vertical screw conveyor downward transmission of silage broken material, through the analysis of material particles in motion analysis of transportation equipment, it is concluded that change speed and pitch of the blade pitch to the relationship between the vertical screw conveyor. According to the simulation results to determine the most suitable for conveying the pitch parameters of silage broken material and screw speed, so that the vertical screw conveyor with high transmission efficiency.
