Regression Analysis on Sowing Performance of a Cell Wheel Seed Precision Metering Device

Abstract. Rice is one of the key crops in China. The precise sowing of super rice has been attracted much more attentions.The seed metering device is the key to affect the sowing performance.To improve the qualified index and reduce the leakage sowing rate, an orthogonal experiment of five factors with four levels were carried using the self-made testing device. The range analysis and the regression model of influence factors on the sowing performance indexs and the important factors to affect the sowing performance were derived.The range analysis and regress analysis got basically the same conclusion. The three factors of the cell length L, angle of a cell chamfer D and rotary speed of the cell wheel n had significant effect to the three performance indexes.
