Abstract.The precision variable-rate fertilization is an important part and the representative technology of precision agriculture .It can enhance utilization rate of fertilizer which reduces the wasting of fertilizer, and promote crop production, improve the ecological environment. The machinery of variable rate fertilization is the executor which realizes precision fertilization and it is the key of fertilization quality .In this paper variable-rate fertilization machineries‘ gap between at home and abroad was analyzed and trend of future development was pointed out in the basic of discussing status quo and existing problems of it.
