Abstract.
In this paper, the key components of garlic combined harvester were designed, which is to improve the production efficiency and reduce the labor intensity. Through reading a large amount of literature, analyzing the key components of the harvester for accomplishing the design of the structure and size calculation, to obtain the key components that is suitable for garlic harvest. The working principle of garlic combined harvester is mainly that garlic sprouts were resected by the rotary knife installed in front of Mowing Platform , then garlic sprouts was sent to the conveyor belt by Screw conveyor, conveying to the rear crushing unit of harvest machine, crushed garlic sprouts returning treatments. Garlic in underground is excavated by Arc-shaped hoe knife, and conveying to a chain conveyor belt through connecting plate , the separation of garlic and soil is in way of vibration. Eventually garlic is collected in hopper. The design of key components can optimize the performance of the garlic combined harvester, improving production efficiency. The structural parameters in this paper can provide some reference for the follow-up work.
