Abstract. TriScan Ⅱ Analyzer was applied to investigate the effect of milking machine working vacuum on operational parameters of HiFlo Evolution Pulsator in current work. The effect and regularity of milking machine working vacuum ranging from 32kPa to 48kPa when pulsation frequency set to 52 or 60 pulsation per minute and pulsator coefficient set to 65.0% or 60.0% or 55.0% on pulsation rate, pulsator ratio, the duration of pulse phase and difference in pulsator ratio were explored. Results indicated that the effect of milking machine vacuum on the duration of pulse phase (ta, tb, tc and td), pulsator ratio and the difference in pulsator ratio was significant. Whereas, the effect of working vacuum on pulsation rate was not significant. When the working vacuum decreased from 48kPa to 32kPa, ta, tc and the difference in pulsator ratio decreased gradually, while tb, td and pulsator ratio increased accordingly. This study reveals the effect and its regularity of milking machine working vacuum on operational parameters of electromagnetic pulsator, which provides a theoretical basis for enhancing the performance of milking machine and protecting dairy cows health.
