Abstract. Designing of compatible transport and post processing equipment and procedures require information about the aerodynamic properties of agricultural materials being handled. Therefore, this study focused on determination of some moisture dependent aerodynamic properties of a dark red variety of Roselle calyxes. Experiments were conducted to measure some physical properties, terminal velocity and drag coefficient at three different moisture content (14.40%, 18.00% and 23.87% w.b). The results shows that length increases from 41.10 - 53.10 mm, the width ranged from 20.60 – 24.1mm, and thickness from 1.11 – 1.32 , terminal velocity (TV) ranged from 2.78 – 3.22 ms-1 and the drag coefficient from 1.40 – 2.31. The physico- aerodynamic properties of Roselle calyxes determined in relation to different moisture contents shows that most of the parameters measured increases with moisture content, with the exception drag coefficient
