Abstract.
Roof sprinkling is one of cooling measures of greenhouse in summer, in order to obtain cooling effect of roof sprinkling for greenhouse in sub-tropical area, and to optimize the flow of sprinkling, a greenhouse thermal environment experimental platform was built. In this paper, an attempt has been made to research influence of different flow of sprinkling on indoors temperature, relative humidity and plants temperature in greenhouse. As a result from experiment, more flow of sprinkling caused lower temperature of inner surface of greenhouse, and lower indoors temperature, but relative humidity remained stable at the same time. Mean while measurements have been made to see the cooling ability of roof sprinkling in different initial temperatures (35±1℃、40±1℃ and 45±1℃). Experiment results showed that roof sprinkling can cooling the inner surface temperature of greenhouse, and indoors temperature can lower at a certain degree. Roof sprinkling decreased indoors temperature for 0.8℃ when an initial temperature was 35±1℃. Indoors temperature decreased for 1.8℃ when an initial temperature was 40±1℃. And indoors temperature decreased for 2.3℃ when an initial temperature was 45±1℃. As a result, the sprinkling control methods are put forward in this paper, these provided reference to develop more efficient cooling method in sub-tropical area greenhouse in summer.
