Alfalfa braided perishable characteristics of natural ventilation stack storage process

Abstract. "Braided grass" is "dry grass frame" and other forms of the small farmers in some regions of the heap storage ventilation dry form, "braided grass" prepared of hand form at present, low efficiency, and the form cannot guarantee regular reunification. Development of related tools can be used to support the grassland production development, improve their livelihood.

Through research in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau China, farmers and herdsmen commonly used form of natural ventilation braided grass pasture stocker to save. The study prepared braided grass by the use of braided grass molding equipment , and straw braid stacked in 1m³ ventilation iron box which bloom braided grass, comparison with natural grass scattered accumulation and storage, collected temperature change during stacking , and statistical the ratio of decay. Test shows stacked braided grass characteristics, compared with the natural grass scattered accumulation and storage has a smaller proportion of decay. And demonstrated during the rainy harvest season, when cannot be scattered grass natural drying, braided grass can be used in the form of reducing the accumulation of losses during storage.
