Abstract. Dissolved oxygen is necessary for fishes. The low oxygen levels are serious that it can cause fish to die. To increase stocking density of fish ponds, this paper proposed a self-adaptive and precise oxygen supplementary equipment for aquaculture with SMS support. The system was made up of sensor module, control module, and SMS module. Dissolved oxygen and water temperature were real-time monitored by the sensor module. The central processor of the system is STC12C5A60S2, and SIM900 is used as SMS module. In the system, the aerator was opened or closed respectively when dissolved oxygen was below the lower limit and beyond the upper limit. The experimental result indicated that the system can realize real-time monitoring and early warnings of dissolved oxygen. Further, it can reduce labor intensity and increase economic benefits of aquaculture.
