Abstract. In the field of agricultural engineering construction, Agricultural Engineering Construction Standardization (AECS) is important for the implementation of scientific management in order to ensure the quality and safety of construction projects. The Agricultural Engineering Construction Standardization Management (AECSM) system, the status of standards-setting management, standards-implementing management and supervision of standards-implementing management were reviewed in this paper. Results showed that the mechanisms of AECS should be innovated, the strategic planning of AECS should be completed, and the AECS system in the face of AECSM development should be improved. If all of these activities were done, AECS will play a better role in boosting the development of modern agricultural engineering.
