Abstract. The applicability evaluation of corn harvesting machinery is a basic research in China to find the key factor restricting the development of the corn harvesting mechanization. On the basis of systematic analysis for the influence factors to the corn harvesting machinery suitability, this article uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process to establish the applicability evaluation system of corn harvesting machinery in northern China, including technical indicators, economic indicators, social indicators and environmental indicators. Then it sets up the fuzzy evaluation model to evaluate the corn harvesting machinery applicability of the typical place, and the results show that the applicability evaluation score of corn harvesting machinery in the typical place is 74, and the applicability level of corn harvesting machinery is in general degree, which is adapted to local realities. The results can make a reference to the agricultural machinery applicability evaluation in China.
