Energy efficiency and consumption is at the forefront all agriculture sectors. As such educating the users of electricity on ways to use less, to produce electricity more efficiently, gain efficiency from existing equipment, or installing new equipment that is more energy efficient is a must. The University of Missouri is developing a curriculum that contains five content areas for a Masters of Energy Sustainability, in conjunction with individual modules that will be used for professional development of middle school and high school agriculture teachers. This program is unique due to the interdisciplinary structure that it is built on.
