Cases of the damage of the heavy metal contamination have been reported by air from industrial facilities like refinery, steelworks, land fill, industrial estate in South Kore. The pollutant could move with wind along the climate, wind direction or velocity. The subject under investigation is the verifying the influence of pollutants on nearby area, especially farmland and tidal land. Thus A detailed investigation was conducted in the six areas of namhae island selected to study the pollution possibility concerning the effects by dust and smoke of Yeocheon Industrial Complex and Gwangyang Steel Works which were the biggest industrial complex in South Korea.
