The Waterway Design Tool (WDT), developed by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), is one engineering software application within the Engineering Field Tools package. The software shares functionality with other engineering applications currently including the Survey Engineering Tool (SET) and the Terrace Design Tool (TDT) and allows the user to design a grassed waterway system from the input of survey data to the output of construction plans and documentation information.
