This work was carried out at the Rabbit Research Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, during hot months, 2008 and 2009. The aim of this work was to investigate the effect of two housing systems on the productive and reproductive performance of New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits for predicting the main physiological responses and performance indexes. Indoors, outdoors air temperatures, relative humidity and wind speed were measured over these months.
