First paragraph: Because of their ease of use and availability, biomass fuels have traditionally been, and in the near future will continue to be, used in solid fuel form. Solid fuels are also easy to store, transport, and handle manuallyfeatures that are especially attractive to developing countries where bioenergy use is highest. The solid fuels reviewed in this section includein their natural order of use because of cost, convenience, and availabilityfirewood and charcoal, organic wastes, and energy crops.
