First paragraph: Grain drying is a process of simultaneous heat and moisture transfer. To adequately understand the operation of drying, the reader has to be acquainted with the basics of psychrometrics, equilibrium moisture content, airflow, and drying rate. These are the topics briefly reviewed in this subsection.
