A computer irrigation scheduling program is no more accurate then the crop coefficient (Kc) values and corresponding coefficient curve being employed. The Kc values proffered by the widely accepted FAO-56 procedure were developed for regions with mild climates. In the cases where local weather conditions differ from these, FAO-56 provides straightforward methodologies to adjust those values.(Download PDF) (Export to EndNotes)
