ABSTRACT REDUCED supplies of fossil fuels and the need for energy conservation have prompted investigation s of alternate heat sources for grain drying. This paper presents the development and testing of a low-temperature heat - pump grain dryer. The design technique and features of the prototype are discussed. Results of a heat pumpelectric resistance side-by-side field test are presented.
