ABSTRACT AN International Harvester Model 1066 Tractor was equipped with a lift such that a paraplegic farmer could enter the cab. Also the clutch and brake pedals were modified to be hand operated. The lift mechanism was operated by a hydraulic system energyzed with the 12-V system of the tractor. The clutch and brake pedals were hand operated through linkage with mechanical leverage. The lift and hand controls were designed and built around the limitations and abilities of the handi-capped farmer.
