Introductory paragraphs: This appendix contains the section property values for square and rectangular structural tubes; light square and rectangular tubes; circular tubes; square, rectangular, and circular bars; some channel sections and some pairs of angles. Appendix B1 contains the equations used to calculate the values while Appendix B2 and B3 contain the numerical values for the USCS and SI systems of units, respectively. A selected set of values is also provided for channel sections used in composite beams and angle sections used in pinned trusses.
