A three-year educational program on animal environment and ventilating systems was initiated for county extension agents. The topics included: 1) mechanical ventilating systems; 2) natural ventilating systems; and 3) heating, cooling, and air tempering. The primary objectives were to increase county agent knowledge and understanding of ventilation principles and to increase agent-led instruction of livestock producers about ventilation.
